Three gateways to discover the richness of Burgundy winegrowing

After many months of construction, the Cité des Vins has opened its doors to the public!

A few words about the construction stages of the three sites.
Cité in Chablis :
Located in the heart of the village, just a stone's throw from the vineyards, the Cité à Chablis is housed in a historic medieval building: the Petit Pontigny cellar, a site highly steeped in history as one of the monastic cradles that shaped winegrowing Burgundy.
Architect Claude Correia of Atelier Correia Architectes & Associés, based in Saulieu in the heart of the Morvan region, has renovated this intimate 12th-century building and added an 800 m² contemporary extension.

Cité in Beaune:
Groupe Rougeot achieved high-precision construction with this 24-metre-high architectural gem, featuring a 2,000-ton helical spiral.
In addition to being a true technical feat, the Cité à Beaune is also an example of eco-responsibility, thanks to a carefully thought-out construction process that is part of a sustainable tourism approach (bio-sourced materials, local geosourced materials, renewable energy production, rainwater recovery...).
Cité in Mâcon :
The Cité à Mâcon stands like a lighthouse on the banks of the Saône, with its strong signal in the shape of a press screw, and blends perfectly into the urban space.
Take advantage of your visit to the belvedere, which offers an exceptional view from a height of 14 meters.
