A great Côte de Beaune wine

Savigny-lès-beaune is a Burgundy commune located between the Corton and Beaune hillsides, with no fewer than 22 Premier Cru climats. This ancient vineyard produces 90% red wines from the Pinot Noir grape and 10% white wines.
Like Burgundy wines, the reds have a deep cherry-purple color, sometimes with garnet highlights. The bouquet is characterized by red and black fruits such as blackcurrant and cherry, as well as flowers such as violet. Very fruity when young, the wine becomes increasingly tender with age.
It's also a spicy, floral wine with a certain complexity and elegance all its own. The roundness and volume make it rather feminine, and the body is discreetly tannic. And this famous roundness goes perfectly with a fine piece of beef, pan-fried foie gras or roast poultry. All at a serving temperature of 15°C.
Savigny-lès-beaune also offers a number of world-famous whites. Their color is recognizable as gold with emerald or pale straw highlights. The nose is floral and mellow, sometimes brioche-like or buttery. On the palate, there are hints of lemon, grapefruit and, above all, minerality, making this a clean, straightforward wine .
It goes perfectly with freshwater fish and a white sauce, or cheeses such as goat's cheese or Gruyère, at a serving temperature of between 11 and 12 degrees.
