Le Bourgogne rouge est l’enfant du Pinot Noir. Connu sous ce nom depuis 1375 et né ici, ce cépage donne naissance à tous les grands vins rouges du vignoble bourguignon. Fragile et jalousement désiré, il nécessite des soins très attentifs durant sa période végétative. 
Instituée en 1937, cette Appellation d’Origine Contrôlée s’étend sur 299 communes de la Bourgogne viticole. Le Bourgogne rouge évoque la plénitude. Ce vin d’initiation offre une bonne clé pour parcourir la gamme des vins rouges.

Attractive, brilliant, light ruby color. The nose and palate are both fine and straightforward, opening onto aromas of red fruit. Silky tannins support the balance of a wine that can be kept for some time (5 to 7 years), yet is already pleasing in its youth.
