Cette parcelle dans son ensemble, s’appelle En Rosey, il n’en était pas de même au XVIIIè siècle, où apparaît, dans le coin sud–ouest, près de Plantenay, le nom d’une pet...
This parcel as a whole is called En Rosey, but this was not the case in the 18th century, when a small parcel called Sept Ranches appeared in the south-west corner, near Plantenay. Ranche is one of the forms of the word Ronce in Burgundian toponymy - from the Latin RUMEX "small sorrel, a kind of sting" - the others being Ronche, Ronde and Ronze.

Chanzy expert advice

Food & wine pairing

With its long, fruity, full-bodied finish, it's a perfect match for fine dishes and tender meats, such as pan-fried river fish, sea fish in white sauce or hot shellfish. It also goes well with hard cheeses such as Comté. It will also do justice to poultry in creamy sauce. It can also be enjoyed as an aperitif.
