Chambertin is the wine of Kings. It is masculine, powerful and well-crafted. Vigorous and firm, well-structured and very dense. Long-lasting on the palate. Aromas of chocolate, liquorice and red berries.

Food & wine pairing

With noble dishes that are themselves complex, so that the confrontation remains balanced. Of course, game will be welcome, grilled or, even better, in a wine sauce. The powerful tannins of the Chambertin appellation will enable this clash of textures, its aromatic complexity and above all its opulence making the difference. Lamb in sauce, coq au vin of course, lacquered poultry and prime rib will also find plenty of interest in the Chambertin appellation, not forgetting washed-rind cheeses, well framed by its power and aromatic persistence.
