The aromas are complex and subtle. Fine scents of guignolet and candied cherry, fine leather and nutmeg, truffle and gamey tones emerge as the wine ages. Tannins, though abundant and present, are neither aggressive nor coarse. The persistence of aromas on the palate is exceptionally long.
